CPI AND LANSING ANNOUNCE SECOND SHUTTLE FACILITY AND A NAME CHANGE FROM RED CLOUD GRAIN, LLC.

(Hastings, NE and Overland Park, KS) – October 14, 2011 — Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) and Lansing Trade Group, LLC (Lansing), each a 50% owner of Red Cloud Grain, LLC, reported a name change to that entity as they intend to add their second BNSF shuttle train facility to the partnership.

The entity now named CPI – Lansing, LLC today announced its intention to build a new loop track grain facility capable of loading shuttle trains on the BNSF Railroad in Fillmore County, NE. This 2.1 million bushel grain facility will be able to load 110 car trains for shipment from this location, providing local grain producers with new and strong access to various consumptive and export markets in the coming years. Construction on the site is expected to begin in November 2011 with completion projected in time for the 2012 harvest.

The Companies are working with state and local authorities and municipalities to secure all needed permits and requirements to allow the project to be completed in a timely manner. CPI and Lansing started this partnership jointly operating a grain facility in Red Cloud, Nebraska.

"The success at Red Cloud Grain has come from the long standing, strong trading relationship between CPI and Lansing," said Bill Krueger, CEO of Lansing Trade Group. "We see a great opportunity in Fillmore County to further combine the originations and operational strength of CPI with Lansing's trading excellence for producers in the region." CPI's CEO Bob Fifield said, "We have had a great relationship with Lansing at Red Cloud Grain. We have seen our businesses at Red Cloud grow at a rapid pace. Our compatibility and added capabilities at Fillmore County will put us in a position to bring long-term value and service to our customers in this region. I am very encouraged by this new business opportunity, and look forward to watching this business continue to grow with the assistance of Lansing."

CPI – Lansing, LLC plans to be providing 2012 crop year corn and soybeans bids to producers sometime this winter once construction is underway.
