LANSING ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENTS

January, 2009 - Lansing is pleased to announce that the Company has created a team of Executive Vice Presidents reporting directly to the CEO. The EVP roles involve day-to-day management of specific areas and the development and implementation of strategies to achieve Lansing's corporate goals.

Scott Mills has assumed the role of EVP Trading — North America. Scott will manage trading of traditional North American grain, feed ingredients, bio-fuels and facilities ensuring that the day-to-day activities for these businesses are properly aligned with strategic decisions.

Peter Grady was named EVP Trading — Financial which involves the ongoing management of proprietary trading activities as well as strategic and corporate risk management. Peter will also provide senior management oversight for the Company's merchant trainee program.

Tom Irmen was named EVP — Strategy & Development. Tom's role will include strategic planning, implementation and operational alignment of strategy, managing new businesses in the initial stages, developing process improvements for the organization and coordinating legal activities around organizational issues.

Bill Krueger, CEO, will be acting as EVP Trading — International for the time being. Bill will be managing international trading operations ensuring that the ongoing activities are properly aligned with strategic decisions.

Lansing believes these changes will allow the Company to continue to effectively manage its existing operations as well as continue on a strong growth path toward its goals.
