LANSING TRADE GROUP TO BEGIN OPERATION OF REDDICK, IL GRAIN FACILITY & TRUCKING OPERATION

(OVERLAND PARK, KS) – JULY 18, 2011 - Lansing Trade Group, LLC has assumed operations at Nielsen Grain Company in Reddick, IL. After a brief closure for the change of operations, Lansing will start accepting grain and grain products into the facility for merchandising and storage. Lansing plans to expand the footprint of this facility with added capacity, while increasing marketing alternatives for producers and for the movement of distillers grains. Additionally, Lansing Transportation Services, LLC will begin operations of a trucking business in Reddick to move grain, grain products and containers in the region.

This grain facility provides local producers access to export markets via container loading, with grain from the facility generally moving toward the BNSF and UP container yards in the region for movement by rail to ports. Lansing Transportation Services will provide trucking for grain and grain products into the elevator, as well as manage point to point transportation for local grain production and movement of containers to the railroad terminals.

Nielsen Grain Company has leased these assets to Lansing, a long time buyer of Nielsen's grain, to enhance the storage and handling operations for local producers. The facility is able to handle corn, soybeans, wheat, distillers grains and soybean meal.

Lansing's Steve Speck, Vice President, said, "Lansing has established a significant business in exporting agricultural products to the international community with significant volume originated from Nielsen Grain Company. Lansing's lease of this facility and assumption of the trucking business will allow this business to continue to grow, providing N. Central IL agriculture with ongoing access to overseas markets. We value our relationship with owner, Gilbert Nielsen, and appreciate what he has done for us in this area."
