LANSING ANNOUNCES ADDITIONS TO OFFICER TEAM
September, 2008 - Lansing is pleased to announce new additions to the Company’s Officer Team as well as several new domestic and international employment opportunities.
Chuck Lapke, was named to a newly formed position of VP – Trade and Organizational Development. This will include the oversight of Lansing’s Merchant Training program which Chuck was instrumental in developing this past spring. Chuck will also manage the recruitment of Merchandising Assistants. The Officer team will also draw on Chuck’s Corn and Renewable trading experience as we continue to evaluate growth opportunities in both areas.
Weston Heide joined Lansing as the VP-Finance with 12 years of experience in the energy industry and related commodity risk management. Weston's background includes management advisory consulting in strategy, risk management and operational areas.
Eric Watts joined Lansing with 10 years experience at ConAgra Trade Group. Eric has held several trading roles along with his most recent position in the Business Development group at Gavilon. Eric will assume the role of VP-International with initial responsibility for the oversight of Lansing’s corporate container strategy and co-leading the South America business.
